DESCRIPTION
The central motif depicts a initial letter, carefully enameled. This piece is part of the “ALPHABET” collection, based on beautiful images from the old book, illustrated by Alphonse Guilletat, “Le véritable langage des Fleurs” by Anaïs de Neuville (1866).
TECHNIQUE
Please note that each piece is handmade, so no two are alike. Les Os de vidre have a diameter of 3.5 inches (9 cm). Each piece of glass is cut and painted by hand and fired in a kiln at 635C. The enamel colours are then applied and fired again at 580C. Finally, the panel is leaded and finished with its leather cord and metal pieces, ready to be hung or placed on its natural wood holder (as you prefer).
Each piece is delivered with its own beautiful packaging where you will find a bit of information about its manufacturing technique.
SHIPPING
Les Os de vidre are shipped by a serious transport company (in most cases HDL, UPS or Correos Express, depending on the country of shipment), able to guarantee a fast and safe arrival whatever the destination. Aware of the fragility of the object, it is shipped in a rigid cardboard box, provided with an important padding to preserve the integrity of the object during transport.
