This piece is absolutely AMAZING!! My parents discovered it buried in an overgrown garden on top of a hill in the back yard of their 1798 home in Vermont. The home sits on 15 beautfully treed and hilly acres and the property and house were deemed historical because of their history and age. I believe it is limestone but can not be certain. You can see the age in the cracks, chips and discoloration of the piece – very primitive and gorgeous! Tons of character and charm!

It measures approximately 12” in diameter, 8” tall and weighs almost 50 Pounds!!

This obviously shows lots of age and wear. The base is not flat but can sit flat or tilted. The age and wear are what make this piece so spectacular! Please review the listing photos and video to make your own assessment of the items condition prior to purchasing.

****This is from my parent’s Vermont home built in the late 18th century and is vintage, used in another era and will show signs of wear appropriate to its age. I will do my best to describe any flaws or defects.****

****IF THERE ARE ISSUES WITH SHIPPING****

I try very hard to over protect every item I ship using bubble wrap, lots of paper, and plenty of recycled padding so that there is absolutely NO movement in the package. The post office is normally very good about delivering on time and delivering the item intact, however, there is occasionally breakage and or damage. If your item arrives damaged or broken do NOT throw ANYTHING away. Please send me pictures of the box, packing materials and issues with the item. I will file a claim and then will send you the claim number. The post office will require that the box, packing material and broken/damaged item be brought to your local post office (I am told that they will return the item to you after completion of the claim). Once you have dropped the item at your local post office I will issue our agreed upon refund through Gardening Life. If you instead prefer to pay to have your item shipped back to me that is fine as well but please make sure to include the original box and all original packing material. I will issue our agreed upon refund once I receive the item. Thank you so much for your understanding as the post office will not process the claim without having seen the original box, packing materials and broken item.
