Cedar will naturally hold up to the weather just fine as is. It does darken, but ages gracefully. If, however, you desire to stain or varnish it, you certainly may.

Seed area is approx 1 1/4″ D and will comfortably hold a cup of sunflower seeds or your choice of seed. Drainage holes are included.
