Handmade Fused Glass Wall Flower.

Made from blue-green streaky opalescent glass and clear glass.

This wall flower would make a stunning and beautiful addition to any home, office or garden. I’ve got one in my kitchen! It would also make a unique gift for a nature lover, gardener, or anyone who loves flowers or natural pastel colours.

It’s made from the highest quality glass, and the colours will not fade, even in direct sunlight.

Size: 5.5 inches (14 cm) across, and just over an inch (3 cm) deep.

You will need to drill a hole in your wall and screw the flower into it. Wall fixings, a chrome-coloured cap, and full instructions are included.

HOW IT’S MADE:

I hand-cut five petals from a sheet of blue-green streaky opalescent glass and five smaller petals from clear glass. I then arrange them in a circle with the smaller petals on top, overlapping the joins. I fire the design in my kiln for 24 hours to fuse everything together. I then place it on a ceramic mould and fire it for a further 24 hours to give it depth and shape.

Each wall flower is thoroughly checked and reworked until I’m not only happy with it but proud of it. I then enlarge the hole in the centre so the screw will go through, and give it a good wash and polish.

Each finished wall flower is wrapped in tissue paper and securely packaged for shipping.
