This piece has been made with real stained glass that will never fade. (this is not clear glass or acrylic plastic that has painted and will fade or warp in the sun). Stained glass is carefully colored and poured or made by hand. It has many textures, bubbles or other beautiful additions to make each sheet of glass very unique.

Before a block is created, I carefully select the stained glass, hand cut, grind, foil, and solder each piece. After the piece is completely assembled, a decision is made regarding the color of the patina ( leaving it natural or adding a black or copper patina). In this case these is black patina to bring out the beautiful colors of the glass.
