Vintage Louisville Stoneware ceramic birdhouse for wrens
The birdhouse is 8″ tall, 9″ long including the wood perch, and 7-1/2″ wide.
It looks like a country cottage. The 1″ diameter circle for the bird to enter is at the top of a front door. There are holes at the top of the peaked roof for cord or wire for hanging.
The birdhouse is heavy, weighing over 4 pounds.
It is previously owned and in good condition. There is a small stain on one side of the roof. It is about 1/8″ in diameter and may be a place where glazing was missed. The stopper on the bottom, which can be removed to help clean out the birdhouse, is rubber and somewhat dry. There is some wear and a small chip on the bottom. Otherwise, the birdhouse has no cracks or chips.
