Overview
This is an in-ground style planter with a 4-foot stem that buries into the ground 12 inches, leaving the bottom of the basket that holds the pot at a 36″ elevation. The stake style foot makes for a reliably stable plant stand that won’t blow over or pull out of the ground. The stem is made from 1-inch square steel tubing with 1/2″ round steel “feet”. Overall shipping length is 53 inches. The basket measures 12 inches across and 5 inches deep to hold a variety of flowerpot sizes. These are made in our little shop in Lucasville, Ohio from all US steel and powder coated a satin black finish for years of weather resistant use. They look fantastic lining a sidewalk or driveway. * We have had concerns in the past asking if we can slightly sharpen the feet to make for easier installment in the ground. Unfortunately, we cannot do this because it would be a safety risk when it is being transported*

I wish it had stakes on the bottom to help installation. It required some work to install without them, but it’s very useful. It encases a bird fountain and it’s very popular with the birds.

Solid product. Looks as pictured. One slight shortcoming is in the design: the center spike is shaped in a way that inhibits driving this into the ground. It needs a point or an added spike so it cuts through the dirt. This isn’t a deal breaker. I bought three and will likely return to buy more.
